Oralift takes advantage of the ability of the facial muscles to adapt. This concept is well proven in orthodontics. Facial muscles are unique and not like any other muscle in the body and can adapt instantaneously! When Oralift is worn in the mouth, the jaw has to rest in a different position than normal. This triggers the body's adaptive process.

In the study published in the Open dentistry Journal in 2018, all the participants reported an improvement in their skin, cheeks and the aging triangle.

In a recent study published by Cutest Systems Ltd and headed by Stewart Long FRSC , former president of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists, it was found that the wrinkles on the face reduced by 12.5% and skin elasticity improved by 20% just after using Oralift for two weeks.

What is this process of adaptation? The process of adaptation involves:

A metabolic or physiologic adjustment within the cell or tissues, of an organism in response to an environmental stimulus resulting in the improved ability of that organism to cope with it changing environment.

When the Oralift is worn, the jaw has to rest in a new position. The muscles of the head and neck respond instantaneously, improving head posture. This induces micro trauma in the muscles followed by the healing process. This can continue for up to 10 months.

This healing process is what causes the changes in the skin. This improves the elasticity, pores and wrinkles of the facial skin as noticed by many of our users.
